Nautilus Beach House

Jamie was attentive to our needs (as he's always been).

I'm guessing that it's the location, but is there any way to get better internet service? I would also like to make sure the cable tv is working correctly. We tried our best to get it up and running, but were unable to. Therefore, we did more watching of things online, hence the question about the internet strength. We had the same issue when we rented across the street, so I think it's more about location than an issue with the internet at the house. We plan on coming back next year, so this is a heads-up for the cable and internet. :-)

We have always found Jamie to be supremely responsive and easy to deal with. This visit was no exception.

The only issue we had with Nautilus was the continually spotty TV service. Repairs were diligently attempted by service techs but this must just be an issue with the house. The other issue, altho small, was the fact that the bath rug in the upstairs bathroom outside the smaller of the two king bedrooms was utterly filthy, as if someone had gotten ill on it and required laundering immediately. When I took it down to wash the washer was full of wet sheets...U guess the house cleaners just ran out of time. I would hope that rugs and bedspreads are washed between visitors on a normal basis?

Great experience working with the team. We would like to rent the Nautilus House again next year, but only for one week. Our family learned that two weeks together is far too much for our sanity.

We rented the house for our extended family and some dear friends who one of them has been dealing with some pretty bad cancer issues. For him, he was allowed to unwind from his worries and just enjoy the stay. My Mom passed away several years ago and Maine was our go to vacation spot every summer. My Dad has a rough time with depression every time we vacationed in Maine. The trips are tough on him without his best friend for 70+ years. This was the first home we rented since my Mom's death that my Dad was at peace. He's not as mobile as he used to be and he found the back porch to be his favorite reading location. One day while reading, he had a butterfly fly up to him. Since my Mom loved butterflies, my Dad took it as a sign that she's still watching over him. It was one of the better moments for my Dad and my sister to experience. For me, any day I can walk the beach in the early morning by just stepping out the back porch, was decompressing for me. It was a stay that we will remember for years to come and hopefully, will be able to experience again next year.

When we needed something Jamie, took care of it immediately, with a caring pleasant disposition.
